Dobbins Type Pulling Lifeboat

Self-righting/self-bailing, 24ft. LOA, 6ft. 6in. beam, 2ft. 3in. depth, 1ft. 7in. sheer of gunwale, four thwarts for maximum of eight oars rowed in double-banked configuration, no sail rig, raised air cases built into bow and stern, no sailing rig, carvel built hull of pine planks over oak frames, self-bailing scuppers port and starboard plus six through-bottom relieving tubes, metal keel and water ballast for self-righting, approx. 8000lbs. displacement
