Response Boat-Small (25ft.)

Self-bailing, but not self-righting; 29’6.5” length, 8’6” beam, 39” draft; 7400lbs. displacement; twin 225HP 4-stroke Honda outboard gasoline engines; 46kts. maximum speed; 105gal. fuel; maximum range 150nm.; capacity 4 crew plus 6 passengers; deep-V rigid mono-hull and cabin of aluminum, with foam collar.

The first production version 25ft. RB-S was delivered by SafeBoat International (design developer and sole boat builder) to the Coast Guard in September of 2003, with additional deliveries still ongoing as of 2007. It is expected that a total of about 450 boats will be built.
