Type H motor surfboat

Coast Guard era variant of the Beebe-McLellan motor surfboat (i.e., non self-righting, but was self-bailing), 26ft. 0in. LOA, 7ft. 0in. beam, 1ft. 6in. draft, 3400lbs. displacement, single 15HP Gray Model F 4-cylinder/4-cycle gasoline engine with single propeller, maximum speed 8.5 statute MPH, 80nm. range, three thwarts for a total of six oars rowed in double-banked configuration, no sailing rig, clinker built hull of white cedar planks over white oak frames, watertight deck with end and side air cases, water ballast system, freeing trunks located port and starboard alongside engine casing
